I have looked around for quite awhile trying to find a natural bubble bath. My daughter is sensitive to chemicals to the point if she uses a ‘normal’ shampoo it will turn her skin bright red and irritated. All little girls (and big girls, too) enjoy the simple pleasures a bubble bath brings. Not wanting her to miss out on bubble hair do’s and bubble wars (yes, we get a bit out of control..lol..at bathtime) I finally stumbled across this product. After doing a patch test on her arm, we were good to go. Happy to report 2 small squirts will produce a vast amount of non-irritating, long lasting fun and fluffy bubbles. Did I mention the scent is divine:)If this product is in stock, I say go ahead and order it, you won’t be disappointed!

My daughter and I am very sensitive to Chemically manufactured items. So far, this product did not cause skin irritation or allergic reaction. Even with only naturally found material used, it produces enough bubble which my daughter loves to play with. However, I am not a big fan of aroma it produces.

Last year I installed a new deep bathtub, and since then have been taking 3-4 baths a week. Because of this, I’ve become a collector/connoisseur of bubble/foaming bath products. I’ve also spent quite a bit of money on my new “hobby,” as I usually use about 2 ounces of bubble bath per bath (6-8 ounces per week) because my tub is so deep. Obviously this can get expensive, so I actually compared brands to see what I was getting for the money.
I have tried 7 different products from Amazon (actually 2 brands were ordered through Smallflower): Lily of the Desert, EO, Sea Spa, Village Naturals, Canus Goat’s Milk, Ombra, and Badedas. In some cases I’ve had more than one scent of each brand.
I rated these products on: Price, scent, amount of bubbles, and whether or not the bubbles were long lasting. The prices are approximate, and Amazon does dicker with their pricing quite a bit. I added $3 shipping to the Smallflower items, although you will pay more if you only order one product at a time through them. I didn’t rate on how soft these products leave your skin because, surprisingly, I didn’t notice any big differences between brands in this regard. Perhaps this is because I tend to stay in the hot water for about an hour which likely dries the skin no matter what product is used.
The only one of the 7 products that I gave 5 stars to Lily of the Desert Aloe 80 Organics Bubble Bath because it has it all: one of the best prices (about 0.40/ounce), has a great smelling, pungent scent, and has good foam that lasts. Additionally, it’s organic and contains aloe vera. I hope this company comes out with other scents; for now they only have one.
