If you’d care to recommend your favorite specialty website, that’s okay, but I’m really looking for a big store that has a selection beyond the normal Made in China fare. I noticed that Babies R Us sells some organic bath and bedding products. Are there others that are even better?
The reason I want a large store instead of a website is that my friend recently registered on MyRegistry, which pulls from various websites, and she got very little of what she registered for. It was basically me and one other person who bothered to use the website; everyone else went to their favorite chain store and chose for themselves. Older relatives probably didn’t even have computers. Obviously, my friend didn’t complain, and I know etiquette does not dictate that shower guests must abide by a registry, but I would like to at least increase my chances that I will get the items I need most.
