Question by Claire: What are some natural remedies or organic products to provide eczema relief?
My boyfriend and I have been dating for over 3 years, and recently one day – almost out of nowhere – he was experiencing terrible dry, irritated skin. It is almost as if as time goes by, it continues to worsen for him. He has been to a dermatologist, and the creams he has been given provide no relief to him.

We’ve currently been reading online about numerous ways that would be a help to him, such as organic moisturizers, saunas, even an oatmeal bath. Right now, we are still unsuccessful with giving him anything to soothe his skin.

I have been looking at products by companies who sell organic and all natural products, and I am looking into fragrance-free olive oil soap bars and organic moisturizers from Kiss My Face.

We live close to a rather large store that supplies organics, and I’d prefer to find something organic or even natural to help him with his skin. It is getting to the point where he cannot even fall asleep because he is up all night scratching, and eventually he will become so exhausted he will just pass out wherever he may be. This is also a concern to me, because there is no way to know where he will be when he falls asleep.

If you know of any companies, products, oils, or anything that could provide him the relief he needs, I will greatly appreciate your help! Thank you very much.

Best answer:

Answer by HappyEnergyFlow
I treat my eczema with herbal remedies from serenaskin.com., and I’m very happy with the results. Cream and spray cleared the skin and now I just take anti-eczema extract to prevent future flare-ups. There are no steroids in this products. Worth a try.
Best.

Query by Bluebird: A bath in just basic old drinking water?
My 14 30 days outdated daughter was having some vaginal redness issues so I made the decision to quit using infant wash, just for a little while, and just use heat h2o. I feel the child wash (Head to toe) was the issue simply because the redness is entirely gone and she is back to typical. How lengthy really should I just bathe her in plain h2o? I’m anxious to use any sort of soap once more, I do not want her to get irritated all more than again.

Really should I start off employing organic and natural little one wash? What are some great varieties that will not trigger any discomfort? Thank you.

Question by Sammy Gabbie GO VEGAN!: Natural and organic products component two?
Are JASON and Nature’s Gate items one hundred% vegan? I’m asking in the Dog area because of to many vegans occur on right here. Yesterday I asked about Tom’s of Maine, and acquired some excellent replies, and some telling me not to feed my canines vegan foodstuff..duh. So, for everyone who’s likely to inform me that, the merchandise I am chatting about are bath and attractiveness items(organic and natural..or so they say) and I’m inquiring if they are cruelty free of charge. I am also likely to say that my dogs are kibble eaters, try to eat bones, I put meat in their kibble some times, etc. so don’t bother telling me that vegan just isn’t very good for pet dogs.

So, are the products talked about about a hundred% vegan?
And what all products are a hundred% vegan?

Best answer:

Solution by Sam
My dog’s don’t like kibble…it is peculiar.
They like these sausages that I get from the butcher for like $ 3kg and I fry them up, combine it with a bit of pasta or rice and grated greens that I discover lying about and an egg and a bit of olive oil.
Normally they get can foodstuff though…

Question by kayserface: I would like to start a business making herbal products. Any advice?
I would like to make soaps, bath oils, shampoos and conditioners. Probably sunscreens and lotions, as well as healthy, organic and gluten free foods in the long term. I’m just getting started and I’m low income, so do you have any advice? I plan on furthering my research on herbs and recipes. Do you guys have any tips?

Best answer:

Answer by Tatiana
First of all you can not sell anything closely labeled as a sunscreen in the united states unless you are going register that product with the FDA which requires extensive testing and labeling as required by the FDA.

Secondly if you are going to sell these products you need to have insurance. This is not regular homeowners insurance but a special type of insurance. You also need to read up on the FDA site under soaps and cosmetics. There are many laws that you need to follow when selling these types of products. Bath oils, shampoo, conditioners, lotions and even bath salts are considered cosmetics by the FDA and they do regulate how they are labeled and whatnot so by law you need to make sure your products are following those laws. You need to know what warning labels your products need to carry which is all explained on the FDA website. You will also be required to apply to your state for a sales tax license. Some states require more of small businesses than others. You also need to check out your city laws because some cities do not allow home businesses in the home. So there is a lot of legal red tape you need to follow.

Third before you even consider selling. You need to do a whole lot of research and testing different recipes and ingredients. You need to understand the ingredients that you use and why they are used. You need to understand the proper usage rate for each ingredient. About safety procedures etc when making them. I would suggest you don’t ask friends and family to test your products because they are not going to know what qualities to look for the pros and cons of the product. Find other experienced people who can give you honest reviews of your products.

I would highly suggest you join a forum. There are many forums out there and not all of them are created equal. So if you join one and don’t like it, then find another until you find one that suits you. There you can learn more about the products you are interested in making. A place to ask experienced members questions and learn from them. You can find out more about the legal side of your business as well.

Good Luck

Best answer:

Answer by phil W
research is your best buddy here, everything from who you will sell to & to what age group, how much your cost will be Vs profit expected ….etc etc. I suggest you look at the best areas closest to you that are affordable within your budget that will yield the best cash flow based on your demographic research you do.. city hall will have all Biz requirements for you . your bank will assist you as well in providing you their requirements to open a Biz account. Your advertising will depend on what & where you decide to sell, local advertising is best to start & the internet, just dont over do things at the begining…..……Good luck,

Hi there, does anyone know any good skin care (bath lotion, body wash, shampoo) for a baby with sensitive skin? (my 5 week old son seems to get irritated by Johnson & Johnson bath stuff, Aveeno baby seems to be a little better, but I was hoping to find something maybe organic without alcohol and without tons of random ingredients that are likely irritating his skin).
Thanks in advance!

Best answer:

Answer by jbaerteach
My kids have very sensitive skin and my dr recommended Dove for them! Even my baby. The unscented kind. Another brand that I have found to be very safe and gentle is the Arbonne baby line. Also, the Burt’s Bees works awesome! I kinda use all three and rotate them when I use them, I heard its better to do that. The best for lotion is Eucerin (I use the generic kind, same thing).
Good luck!
