Question by A: flea bath after putting revolution (flea drops like frontline) on cat?
I gave him the stuff 12 hours ago. The revolution package says I can give him a bath after 2 hours. It didn’t say if that included a flea bath.
The meds haven’t gone through his bloodstream yet, and I want to kill all of the ones on him, So by the time the fleas go back to him, the stuff will have kicked in.
The cat is 9 months old. The flea bath is organic and chemical free (natural Chemistry)
btw. Natural Chemistry works…. but it only kills the fleas on the cat at the moment. The whole bit about the residue lasting a week is bs.
i figured the shampoo wouldn’t work. I needed a quick fix to hold em off until my friend could bring some revolution home from her work.

No, don’t follow Revolution with another flea chemical. Call your vet and ask for a Capstar pill. It can be used safely in conjunction with Revolution and is fast-acting. It lasts for about 24 hours and will begin killing adult fleas on your cat within 30 minutes. That way the fleas will die and you & kitty will be spared the trauma of a bath. Vets usually charge somewhere between $ 2-$ 10 for one pill, depending on the vet.
