I just saw a commercial about people trying to build the “greenest” town in America, and they wanted donations. It was on Discovery Channel. I wasn’t totally paying attention until the end. Do you know anything about this?

Does anyone know the name of the building (I think it is condos but it may be apartments) on Alamitos and Ocean in Long Beach, Ca. It is the old, historic looking building with the green roof. Thanks!

It doesn’t seem to be afraid of people. How should I remove it from the building without hurting it?

Got an answer about materials… I was asking about green building methods. Yes, materials are an important component but not the big picture. I want find info about straw bale, adobe and other types of construction beyond the “stick house” that is still so much the norm!
